We know he is going to be sensible about the criminal business.

People are wild about this. You want perfection?

The president has to see things your way on every issue?

You really think trump is soft on crime?

He’s calling his opponent a corrupt politician and a criminal in mic. To the world

We have him or Biden Harris. Let him drive voters away from them.

First of all, people (even on our side) still largely haven’t come to grips with the mindset of Trump, which is that of a businessman and NOT a politician. He does what he believes will work, period. He understands that it takes an investment (monetary or otherwise) to accomplish things, and if pissing off a few unimaginative people who aren’t even looking very closely at the details of what he’s done is the investment/cost necessary to shift even 1% of the votes of the black community to his side, then that is a damned good trade-off.

Second, even though he is not by training, experience or inclination a politician, Trump is (once again - for maybe the 50th time in his life) proving to be incredibly successful at something that NO ONE thought he could do even moderately well. For being in politics for 5 years, he’s running circles around most of his opposition - and those who have not had that experience should be thankful that Trump is operating in an extremely target-rich environment, meaning that he hasn’t had the time to focus on them...yet.

BTW, that bit about doing what people say that he cannot provides an important insight into his personality (and a contrast with Obama, among many other politicians). Someone says to him, “You can’t do that, you have no idea what you’re doing, the people in that field are going to eat you for lunch, etc.” - well, he looks at that as a challenge to his intelligence, his creativity and his willingness to work hard (like 18 hours a day hard, 7 days a week, for months on end). He is highly motivated to prove to those naysayers - and probably even more to himself, that those people are wrong. IOW, he takes it as a challenge to overcome. Obama and other egotists and narcissists, OTOH, take such a challenge to their abilities or power as an affront, and they then either destroy those people or do their damnedest to do so. He and they have such incredibly fragile egos that they cannot tolerate anyone doing anything but kissing the ground that they walk on.
