“Was Jesus a counter puncher? No. “

Ah, bhive -

Luke 22:36.

“But now,” He said, “take your money and a traveler’s bag. And if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one!”

Jesus *knew* the path He was destined to take. He *knew* that He would be the Sacrificial Lamb and would be untouched by harm until the time He was destined to die.

Jesus also *knew* what His disciples would face.

It does no Christian any good to pick and choose what they wish to present as an instruction...

Though the Bible is at times hard for me to accept, as I am a sinful human, it does me no good to pick and choose from the Word.

As Christians we must always take the full walk of knowledge/instruction by Jesus.

I want to understand what you are trying to tell me, but I can’t figure it out.

Pick and choose the Bible? Well the Bible is roughly 1000 pages in modern publications. 1000 pages of stuff is hard to include and reference in one post. Maybe you are saying pointing out one thing from the Bible is picking and choosing? But how can we discuss things any other way than one item at a time? As I say, I am a little confused about your point, and my IQ is not that high so I fully understand the fault here is probably mine.

2 Tim 3:16 ... all scripture is breathed out by God and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction and for training in righteousness.

What do you find hard to accept about the Bible?
