The Commission on Presidential Debates is at it again, making another last minute rule change to protect Joe Biden from being bested on stage by President Trump. This time the commission announced that each candidates microphone will be muted while the other responds for two minutes to a question by moderator Kristen Welker of NBC News at Thursdays third scheduled debate in Nashville. During open discussion, Welker will be able to give a candidate more time to speak to make up for being interrupted.
The debate commission changed the rules for the second debate from an in-person townhall in Miami to a remote town hall after Trump came down with the COVID-19 Chinese coronavirus. Trump rejected the change, prompting the cancellation of the debate. Biden and a recovered and non-infectious Trump held dueling solo town halls last Thursday, the night planned for the second debate.

Good. Trump cant interrupt Sleepy.
i honestly think ‘debates’ would be better without a mediot ‘moderator’
but also in todays world these debates are more and more pointless, as they really dont debate as much as snark and shift time to other things they would rather talk about, or throw strawmen out there
further the mediass always protects and says the democrat did well/better, and always biased against the republican
time to end the mediass circus
I don’t think the advisers are telling him to do this debate. Trump wants to do this of his own free will. If he didn’t like the changes he would have cancelled.
You can bet people will be timing those mics to see if they are holding Joe to the same standard as Teump.
the moderator should be muted except when asking a question. its up to voters to decide if the candidates answered.
“”The debate is a waste of time””
YEP.
.
I got a double sawbuck that says it won't be even.
STOP THE MADNESS!!
They want him to do that.
Then they can say “that’s 2 he pulled out of. He is scared to debate. “
