I’ll find 50 to 60 sheds a year. If your not finding sheds in deer country it’s because you’re not looking for them. I’ve found elk sheds in Colorado, NM and Wyoming, found moose sheds in Manitoba and Ontario. I’ve found several hundred flint arrowheads and blades while some people never find one. Difference is I look for them. Some people are not very observant, as Gus McCray says “He ain’t much of a noticer”.
It's not a matter of noticing them. You don't hardly find sheds here because the rodents make quick work of them as soon as they hit the ground. Also, because the ground cover turns over very thick here.
