Oh, the horror of this. This is so sad. No white person has ever had trouble finding fresh basil in the grocery store. This indignity is reserved for those of African-American descent!!

I didn’t know that fresh basil wasn’t available in New England. Here in Arizona we can buy it either n a plastic box full of cut leaves or we can buy whole plants in the grocery stores.

Type in Ft. McNair, DC Map into a search engine and look at the stores in the area. Where I use to work at the west end of the Navy Yard, is now a park, next to Nationals ball park.
