AOC is lying, she grew up in a wealthy neighborhood. If she couldn’t find basil it’s because she was too stupid to recognize it in the store.
Thinking of all the children who have starved for lack of fresh basil I think she has a point.
My Italian family has been growing it fresh forever. All you need is sun, soil and water. Of course if AOC is living in a crypt, that could be a problem.
