The reference to MRE’s is as confusing as your original post which I took issue with from the standpoint of not knowing or understanding what you were getting at. I didn’t comment for that very reason.

Now we have a bit more lack of understanding. It appears, correct me if I’m wrong please, that MRE’s are the preppers choice for food storage in preparation for possible future events?

That would be a misconception, since the standard for food storage is store what you eat “normally”. To do otherwise is to subject yourself to more upheaval in an already out of control world when the SHTF.

As I see it, no one on this thread is a Prophet of CWII. They are attempting to prepare folks for any eventuality outside the peaceful world so many desire to maintain without a call to arms.
