I did read something today that said that Pinkerton admitted they had him as a “contract worker” not an actual employee. Don’t know if that makes any difference.

That's a new wrinkle. I don't think that would make any difference when it comes to civil liability.

prolly only difference is in witholdings & employee benefits.

the question would be does pinkerton’s contract specify that contractors must provide their own errors & ommissions type liability insureace?

does the contract with pinkerton’s specifically release pinkerton’s from any liability from actions of the contractor

If he was a contract worker wouldn’t he have to have the same qualifications as one of their employees?
