Patriots should ask the police to keep a large distance between them and counter protesters. Patriots want to get their message across, not to have a screaming match. What good does it do to have a screaming match? The two sides should be kept apart for their own safety and so that their message can be clearly heard. Being close together just causes yelling, screaming and confusion and possible violence.
I don't know. I think people should be responsible for their own choices. I personally wouldn't venture into a hot zone, but I also don't want the cops directing where I can't go. The guy that got shot didn't have very good situational awareness. The shooter was working with a team, including a guy who was provoking emotional reaction. get emotional, and your guard goes down. Dangerous.
I really doubt justice comes in this case. Do NOT count on the law to help. Jury there is going to acquit ANTIFA, just as sure as OJ.
I do agree with you, scream match is pointless. I'm making a practice of anti-socializing people that give a whiff of Biden support, etc. Won't give 'em the time of day, never mind a piece of my mind.
That would be what one would expect the police to do. But in the Democrat run cities where Antifa and BLM riot at will the police do not defend the conservatives. In fact they usually arrest the conservatives who try to defend themselves after the police let the leftists attack the conservatives.
In every case, even obvious self defense the police and the DAs go after the conservatives. And they certainly don't keep the Antifa thugs away from the conservatives.
