The WHO admitted to the BBC that its June 2020 mask policy update was due not to new evidence but “political lobbying”: “We had been told by various sources WHO committee reviewing the evidence had not backed masks but they recommended them due to political lobbying. You’re posting old recommendations from back in March or so when the CDC (and the WHO) had no freaking idea what they were doing, or how to respond to the virus.
Here’s the latest CDC recommendation. Spoiler: they recommend to WEAR. A. MASK. to reduce spread.
But, hey, let’s keep arguing about masks and let the virus spread so we have even more dead people and cases. That should be “really” good for our economy and POTUS getting reelected. Actually, it won’t.
