Then you weren’t paying attention - once again he went into hostile waters with the sharks massed up to take him down and once again he ended up on top - with Candy-Crowley-Wallace there, it was an impossible task to have a “snap-decision” blowout, but Trump flustered Joe into some obscene gaffes and drew Wallace out into the open as a partisan hack.
When it was over, OANN folks said it best...”Wallace USED TO BE a highly respected journalist but threw it all away during the debate.”
I am a staunch Trump supporter, and I have lost NO faith nor favor with Trump because of last night's debate.
No one seems to want to comment that last night really WAS a debate !
If Wallace had not been there, America might have seen what we'd like to see in politics rather than "my esteemed colleague on the other side" .... a couple of guys going at each other for real.
I posted my comment in reply to individual comments, not to the FR world in general.
I made a judgement call that I still agree with. Trump sucked last night and will go forth to win his second term, but I DO now believe it MIGHT not be the landslide I have prophesied all year.
