In these debates, if there are more, Trump will never get an even opportunity. He needs to come to grips with that fact and find an approach that blunts the moderator’s bias and simultaneously scores hits on Biden with facts... and, yes, even with humor at times. He’s in those debates to win the middle, or it’s over.

We absolutely agree there. But if Biden is allowed to break in every time Trump tries to display those facts, as happened this time, and not told to let Trump finish his statement as that is what the rules stated, then Trump won’t get them in. Trump is trying to bring a humane way he was told would happen to a knife fight. And the moderators are disarming him.
I’m a firm believer when it is time for one of them to make a statement to a question, the other’s mike is turned off as the commission is saying they will do. When it is time to discuss the statements, each one will have a time set to talk without interruption. But of course the reporting on this blamed Trump for the illegal interruptions as it was CBS and NBC that reported it. What a shock there. But the left has no platform to sell so this act can cause a problem for them.
