Barrett has the two children who are black and the other front runner is Barbara Lagoa who is the daughter of Cuban refugees who fled Castro. That should counter the inevitable racism screed of the democrats. The other obvious guaranteed democratic plays are the screams of misogyny, sexual harassment, and rape. That's pretty much taken off the table too by both of them being women.
We'd all like to just have the most qualified person nominated but that's not realistic. This is an extremely political process and we all saw with Kavanaugh what will happen when you nominate someone based solely upon their qualifications. Having a Y chromosome and caucasian skin guarantees you're going to be targeted and slandered.
