President Trump offered Julian Assange a deal if he were to disclose his source of the DNC emails released before the 2016 election.

Today it was reported in a British Court that the President of the US attempted to get this information from Assange. The Daily Mail reports:

Good..under normal circumstances, the media would want to know who gave Assange the emails, but since they already know it was Seth Rich, they have to trash the report since it goes against their RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA story they peddled for 3 yrs

It wouldn’t have made any difference if Assange had “confirmed” the source was Seth Rich.
He had already confirmed that the source was not Russia, and that made no difference.
The whole point of proving it was Seth Rich, was to prove it wasn’t Russia.
So any additional Assange statement would be moot - unless he could offer proof.
There is no way President Trump would have offered a pardon in exchange for anything short of proof.
This whole story stinks of fake news - it is just another false collusion narrative, an attempt to frame President Trump for inappropriate use of his pardoning power for political gain.
Fortunately, nobody is interested in any more anti-Trump witch hunts. The people will render a verdict on President Trump in 46 days. Period.

But Band, in his Jan. 2012 email, suggested that Mezvinsky needed to lean on his wealthy and well-connected in-laws because he wasn’t having much luck generating investor interest in his hedge fund on his own. “His raising money for his own fund hasn't been going well,” wrote Band, who at the time was engaged in something of a turf war with Chelsea Clinton.
Chelsea accused Band, who had worked closely for years with Bill Clinton at the foundation and on for-profit ventures, of using his foundation role to supplement his own money-making ventures.

It has been quite some time since I have reported on John and Tony Podesta. Tony Podesta has literally disappeared from public view (Tony was forced to close down his lobbying firm). As far as John Podesta, he does tweet now and again. Judicial Watch has received access to new emails coming from John Podesta. The emails prove John Podesta lied when he said he was not affiliated with the Podesta Group.
There are documents from the U.S. Department of State showing the Podesta Group working on behalf of the pro-Russia Ukrainian political group “Party of Regions.” The documents also reveal then Obama White House Counsel John Podesta lobbying on behalf of his brother’s firm. Plus, he was, in fact, embroiled with a pro-Russia Ukrainian political group called the “Party of Regions.”
