That is pretty much what happened during the various COVID lockdowns, and leftist teachers hated the fact that Parents could listen to what the Lefties teach to children.
At least as far back when I was in school, until the plandemeic teachers and administrators lamented over the apathy among so many parents, they encouraged more involvement from the parents to attend PTA and school board meetings to express their views and concerns. Now they're shytting bricks over parents eavesdropping on their kids during virtual classroom sessions.

Because it’s the wrong kind of “engagement”. When they say they want parents more involved, they mean that they want parents to blindly reinforce the indoctrination they’re inflicting on the kids in the classroom, not to question the content of their curriculum.
