As we reported this morning, two Ohio high school football players were suspended from the team after they ran onto the field on 9-11 with thin blue line and thin red line flags in support of the anniversary, and the heroes lost that day at the WTC.
The thin blue line flag represents support for police officers and the thin red line flag represents support for fire fighters.
The boys were honoring 9-11 victims and their fathers who work as a police officer and a fire fighter.
What thanks did they get for this awesome show of support for heroes? A permanent suspension for the entire season!
We provided the website, email and phone numbers of the Little Miami school that suspended them for our readers to let the school know how they felt about this outrage.
Well in just a few short hours, the backlash against the school's administrators has been so great that, moments ago, they emailed 24News to let us know they REVERSED the suspension for the two players, effective immediately.
