Nice to know the victim was able to give a description of the shooter. What was it?
The suspect fled the scene before police arrived. The victim was able to provide officers wit ha description of the suspect.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Edina Police Department at 952-826-1600.
Once again, they tell us they have a description of the suspect, but won’t tell us what it is. Which makes it less likely that anyone will have information so as to call the police.
Just another day in what used to be something close to paradise.

I was in that area and caught the tail end of it.
I talked to a woman there who explained to me why there was a car laying on its side in the middle of busy France Avenue.
She lives in Edina too and told me that her daughter’s care had been stolen and used as a temporary cookhouse for making drugs before it was abandoned. After it was recovered and returned to her, she was looking for her debit card. She reached between the seats and was stuck by a dirty needle.
Initial lab tests show that she’s fine but she’ll need to have follow-up tests for HIV, hepatitis, etc. for some time now.
The woman also told me (I guess she heard it from the police) that Edina is one of the great places for auto thefts now.
Any of the counties making up the Met Council have been infected by the wokeness virus, and this has been going on for some time. The mentality in the suburbs is to slavishly conform to the latest fads, and this BLM nonsense is one of them. It’s part of the “stuck in junior high” culture. Even Eagan, which was another conservative area, has flipped. I lived there between 2001 and 2011, left to return to Texas.
Edina was a nice place.

Downtown Minneapolis has become a combat zone. Last night an Uber driver and his passenger were nearly caught in a crossfire on a major downtown street last night. The Uber driver caught on his dash cam kept a cool head and did a quick turn to avoid the gunfire. Antifa looters gutted the Target, Macy’s and several other businesses on the Hennepin Mall a week ago. The entire downtown Minneapolis area is basically a no go zone day or night.
