I’m not sure if the accusations are true.
But, I am sure that what they are accused of (using an outsized percentage of raised money for payroll and admin costs) is common.
The majority of charities are no more than financial support systems for the people that run it.
This seems like selective enforcement.
The Red Cross and UNicef should be next.
Yep and I have been looking into starting one... It’s a two page online form, automated application. I think it’s called a 1023 ez I Think. But you need to form a corp first. Or should always. Basically it’s a small 250k 501c3 that doesn’t take more than 50 a year in and no gov grants allowed.
