Another thing that I observed is that generally 'the front line' are folks who are, in their own minds, well-meaning demonstrators
who generally get self-hypnotized by rhythmic and repetitive verbal phrases that become "group think", and then that leads to "mob mentality".
It's the folks in the back lines that are generally the violent actors and from where most of the projectiles and various weapons materialize.
They hide in the back lines to cover their activities and identities; it is the back lines that law enforcement should fixate their attention and root out the violence.
