Did you know that for the 2018 flu season, only 277M people were even confirmed to have caught the flu? About 8% of the US populace, although that ignores repeat infections or double-testing. 277M positive influenza tests. Out of 1.3MM tests, so that means that for every flu case suspected and tested, 79% of them were NOT the flu.
Your "80k" figure is actually FIVE times less: confirmed flu deaths for the season was only about 15,600. (And to tell the truth, even that sounds abnormally high.)

That said, I do agree with your point that this lockdown is completely stupid and needs to go away ASAP.
