e.g. anyone or anything that would stick out in a crowd that we should be aware of?

Consider joining the group People’s Rights or go to the website (https://www.peoplesrights.org/) to see if this is the kind of thing you are looking for. I know they have a group in Portland. I’m not sure about the other cities.

If they put out Porta-Potty's for the rioters to use, go around with course sandpaper and rough up the seats.

NW of Minneapolis in a suburb. Offices for my work are on the other side of town just North of the 3rd Precinct. I'm in IT, so been doing a lot of work remotely from my home office.
Let MPLS burn. They deserve it. We can clean up later.

If I didn't know you are in California, I would think you are looking for a little weed;)

I live about a mile north of the Seattle city limits in an area called Shoreline. All I've seen out here are a few pro-BLM demonstrators, many of whom seem to be aging hippies. So far its been peaceful; they just stand on street corners and wave their signs. As far as I know, there has been no property damage, graffiti, or efforts to block streets or get in people's faces.
I'm about twelve miles from downtown Seattle and Capitol Hill, where most of the trouble has been.

Anyone wearing a hoodie, a backpack, and carrying a skateboard should be considered suspicious. Especially if they’re wearing a face mask and a ball cap with something like PARAMEDIC, EMT, or PRESS on it.
