LOL! Now that would have been something I would have liked to have seen.

I taught an English Shep to hunt pheasants once. Dang dog was NUTS over hunting those.

Wasnt hard to do.

It was a year or so after I got him, that I even asked what the heck a “F.CH.” meant on his pedigree.

We used to have field trials locally but they seem to have gone away.

I didn’t know he could do as well as he did but the dog was uncanny smart and I figured what the heck.
Give him a try.

Who knew he was hiding that talent?

I made use of it later, though.
He and I went groundhog hunting so I could catch and play with the babies.
Those, he’d run down and bring back to me.
I’d play with them for a bit then put them back near their dens.
Pretty sure all the groundhog moms hated me.
