It depends on where you live. I have friends who recently got their pistol purchase permits within three weeks. I know that I will get a beat down from freepers who can just walk into a store and purchase a pistol saying that everyone should be able to do that. I agree with that but we like where we live and don’t want to move.

I applied 6 weeks ago. I called my police dept. last week, they told me they’re backlogged and I’ll just have to wait.

When it becomes normal for folks to say or believe in the words “allow” or “permit” when it comes to the government’s “infringing” on the 2nd amendment .. it’s a damn shame!

The 2nd’s purpose is there, not only to protect the rest of the amendments, it is also there to protect us from a tyrannical government!

So .. when the tyrant “allows” what manner of self protection you may be “permitted” then you’ve already lost!
