What was wrong with this guy? He was disobeying every police command and made a final lunge to get into his car. He might have been trying to run but I think the cops had to fear he was going for some kind of weapon in the car.

Yep - he had no reactions to being tased and was reaching with both hands instead of trying to enter the vehicle...I think I may have been able to stop myself after 2-3 shots but would have done the same thing...
