IMHO, the marriage was probably on the rocks for a long time. What kind of husband, regardless of disagreement, treats their wife that way? I disagree with my husband from time to time but I want the very best for him and I support his endeavors anyway. I believe he has my best interest at heart even though I don’t always agree. He supports me just the same. We have our discussions about it but we don’t publically humiliate each other. Good grief.
