I think Biden did great. All he had to do was stifle the "rumors" (i.e. fact) that he is suffering from Alzheimer's.

He slurred a couple words, misspoke a few times, and repeated himself a few more.

Other than that it was mission accomplished.

Now he can go back to hiding in the basement and get his friends at CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS, NYT, WAPO, NRO, and WSJ to tell us what a great president he'll be.

I agree. My wife and I said the same thing. He didn’t saying anything of note, but the fact that he said it without screwing up is all the DNC and media needed, and they got it. We’ll not see Joe again before November. From now on it will be up Heels up and the media to handle the campaign for him. It would have been nice if he had come across as your crazy, senile uncle, but he didn’t.
