I hope you are loaded up and prepared to go. It might even be a good idea to get out now while you can. Then you don’t have to get stuck in traffic, smoke or walls of fire. The air will be easier to breath too. Take what’s important and valuable. In the meantime, be safe everyone affected.
I live rural & have acreage for my horses. Several friends in N Calif KNOW they can come here without even calling me first.
Also people in a 100 miles range of me here in N Nevada. Fires are also common here, depending on how much Juniper is around your property. One friend is actually a dispatcher for the Forest Service.
I can park at least 10 horse trailers & trucks here, if necessary.
Have enough containers for water & can put horses that don’t fight into larger paddocks. Otherwise, they can practice ‘camping’ tied to the trailers.
