In addition to no tourism, most office buildings in Midtown are still closed. People don’t want to commute in on crowded trains when they can work from home. There is no indoor dining and when gyms finally open, the restrictions are so crazy why bother. I live in Manhattan and all I see are moving trucks all day long.
I have two friends who walked off Manhattan and another leaving when lease is up in October.
I can see the city from streaming cams and I can’t recall ever seeing so few people at Times Square.
