That is a dumb argument. Doctors don’t go to work and wear masks when they are sick. In contrast people are now being told to wear masks when they are sick.
There’s a reason cases surges along with mask mandates. Covid mask wearing hygiene is horrible.
Actually, it is precisely BECAUSE of controlling transmission of pathogens FROM doctor TO patient that doctors and nurses wear masks.
And yes, some people wear terrible masks, or wear them incorrectly, or don’t throw away disposable masks and regularly disinfect reusable ones. Some people also wear their seat belts wrong. Is that reason to tell everyone to stop wearing seat belts? Or should we simply fix the problem of some people doing it incorrectly?
