I wonder if Harris is the VP nominee because others turned down the job.

He committed a long time ago to choosing a woman, but, isn’t it quite possible that other women were offered the job but declined?

There seems to be a lack of enthusiasm on the Democrat side for Harris.

Somebody I know who is more liberal, was disappointed that Elizabeth Warren wasn’t chosen.

If I were a liberal, which I am not, I would have voted for Elizabeth Warren. She is very effective at what she does, and smart. (But I understand she’s not loved in her own state.)

I’m thinking she’s thrilled to except the job. The opportunity to walk into the White House in a couple of months as the actual president and she didn’t even have to run for it? Of course she’s going to take it she’s very very ambitious and that’s where she is intended to end up all along
