No, not at all. They aren't decriminalizing it, they are changing the sex offender registration database. It is still a crime, you still go to jail. This is just about registration afterwards.

They aren’t decriminalizing, from my skimming of the bill the only thing that changes is registering as a sex offender. As a non-lawyer, I wish someone who knows more about California’s codes would interpret all the exceptions to this. I can pick out that anything violent is excepted, but I’m not sure about the other code numbers cited. In any case, 10 years for something like this sounds like way too much. Two or three years, maybe.
The reality is they hate themselves and the life they have.
Regarding the final goal, I respectfully disagree with your conclusion. I do so only because an understanding of human nature teaches that they will always continue to push the boundaries. That no operating envelope is ever enough. That said, I don’t have any idea what the next step will be, but I anticipate that perverted minds are working on it. Power begets greed for more power.
I agree, and we’ve seen indicators of this already. A move several years ago in Germany was to declare the Holy Bible hate speech. And in our own country, the Congressional democrat war on Catholicism (”the dogma lives loudly in you”; K of C opposes a woman’s choice, etc.) rages.

In this case the boy was always different - wanted to play with dolls, etc.
Some of them I’ve known said they always knew - they were born that way - according to them.
I, a female, couldn’t help but be attracted to little boys - so that’s how I relate.
