Apparently my governor can not because if you read his “order” carefully you come to know that it’s just a very sternly worded suggestion. Probably knows it would not hold up in court.
My Gov (Baker) did not lock folks down. His mandates have been specific. But the mask thing is local as well as state. It’s pretty encompassing, but not draconian.
But, my point is I can talk to my local Health Commissioner, I can vote out my selectmen. The Feds are in no position to do this.
