I think i remember that iodine might be harsh on kidneys? I know contrast dye can be bad- which is iodine i believe? I’ll have to check that protocol out- but seems i remember it might be harsh- maybe it was something else-
it’s definitely not harsh on the kidneys but iodine/iodide (which must be taken in a ratio) do cause us to detox and toxins can hurt your kidneys. you build up your dosage but it’s an extremely effective mineral, as is magnesium.
no, contrast dye is toxic but if you saturate your body with Lugol’s (liquid form) or Iodoral (pill form) you will not absorb radioactive iodine into your thyroid (which is where the bulk of iodine is stored)
