Apart from the medical reasons masks are harmful, they're also an attempt to keep us panicked and miserable so Trump loses in November. Just look at who's promoting them and how.
"2. Um, nothing that restricts your breathing during a brutal heatwave is harmless. You may not have heard that one of the Navy honor guards at Rep. John Lewiss funeral passed out. One can only imagine the deluge of alarmist headlines wed be drowning in had COVID-19 been the culprit.
But since the virus wasnt involved, publicizing that a young man in peak physical condition passed out on the concrete while wearing a mask during a seemingly interminable heatwave would have only made everyone wake up and realize what an obviously terrible idea it is."
Send "Orange Man Bad" federal and state government desperate Democrats and RINOs home in November!
Supporting PDJT with a new patriot Congress and state government leaders that will promise to fully support his already excellent work for MAGA and stopping SARS-CoV-2 will effectively give fast-working Trump a "third term" in office imo.
Seems rational to me, especially the last one.
You said hard work and airforce in the same sentence, therefor anything said after I will disregard as bs.
Heh, from
The infantry.
Happy you survived, if you want to wear a mask all day long, fine. I wear a mask whenever I go to stores and closed public places and take it off when I leave. I simply do not like the fact the breathing is restricted at least by the mask that I have been wearing. Don’t have a gas mask and don’t intend to get one either!
6. Additional bonus reason not to wear a mask: Please consider whos insisting that you do.
However, I observe that the entire article is primarily (good) political discussion of the issue, and does not clearly identify the real, valid medical reasons for not wearing masks. Check out this article:
Thanks, my gut simply tells me that restricting
breathing is not healthy. Done a lot of running
in my life and certainly would not wear a mask
doing so.I think I know a little bit about breathing.
Again I do wear a mask where required but take it off
as soon as I can.
Everyone I know does the same.
Same here, will wear it to get in, then it goes to under my nostrils to breathe normally and not restricted. Not a mouth breather so works for me.
“4. No one has a clue what deleterious results will follow from depriving people of emotionally connecting with each other via facial cues.”
And how about severely hearing disabled folks who must lip-read in order to understand what is being said?
I do the same during this, bearing in mind wearing a mask does little to protect the wearer from the virus.
The moment I'm away from people by 6 feet or more, it comes off.
Heh, from The infantry.
Depends on the career field and what is going on in the USAF.
Did 12 hours a day, seven days a week loading 1000 pound bombs for Linebacker II.
Either busting rear or goofing off.
Unlike you little chance of encountering somebody shooting at me.
We lost more from getting squashed, etc., in Air Freight than by enemy action in Vietnam. "Industrial accidents".
Same as lot of jobs in the military, you are around a lot of big stuff, moving fast.
"Some days you're the windshield, some days you're the bug."
In my other career fields, little physical work, but at times mind bending mental work.
“I simply do not like the fact the breathing is restricted at least by the mask that I have been wearing.”
Same here, so I make masks out of cheesecloth. Easy to breathe through, and no Karen has said anything yet.
We had a friend’s daughter who got pleurisy from exactly that, her pulmonary doctor told her. She had absolutely no other issues, was never sick, and is young. (in her teens). Was wearing it for her job.
Oh, you were the guys running around dropping 500lbers on your toes?
Nothing funnier than being in a messhall with 3 different distinct trades and listening and participating with the cross trade banter. Nowadays they’d probably lock us all up for melting all the snowflakes heh.
I may chirp the chair force, but I was always glad when they answered the radio.
Now we collectively have bigger fish to fry than each other, things are dire.
