Chills, fever, and pain in your side are the beginning effects of this....which you might go and think it’s a flu situation.

But vomiting and dark/bloody urine would normally trigger you into visiting the doctor and getting tests done. She may have put off visiting the doctor because of fear of getting Covid-19.

Having had numerous renal infections, I can tell you that a nurse should have recognized the symptoms.

From dark, foamy urine to the scent of infection in it, the fever and its symptoms along with flank pain, on top of a decreased urine output. If I called my nephrologist and told him I had those symptoms, he’d call in Norofloxacin right away. I’d think that a nurse would have a ton of sway with doctors in that regard.

She was working in a hospital. Easiest place to find a doctor.

most people do not get dark bloody urine and the vomiting is hit or miss
