You may very well be right. My view is because I have high respect for Israel, and maybe mistakenly think that they wouldn’t condone having a person like this on their payroll. That said, I admit that I have no idea how things run at the level of ‘spooks’, and what is acceptable. After watching a coup attempt by the FBI and CIA, however, nothing is surprising.
On a related note, I think it would be very interesting to have an extensive FR thread in which people are invited to voice their conspiracy theories. My point is that, if you can think of it, it is possible that it is going on. Hopefully we have state agencies who think about these possibilities - as ‘unlikely’ as they might seem.
