You cant tell us where Florissant is?
So annoying.
There is a Florisant, Colorado. But the photo doesn’t fit my memory of the town!
In tiny print, inside...MO.
I see that there is a Florissant, Missouri. That would seem to fit better with the photo than the one in Colorado.

St. Louis, Mo, is the short answer.
St. Louis proper is surrounded by concentric shells of municipalities. It’s like the sun and the planets, or the nucleus of an atom and electrons. Anyway, north of St. Louis is Normandy, then the now-infamous Ferguson, then Florissant. Florissant is outside I-270, which is a sort of beltway. One give-away is the mention of Lindbergh blvd.
It’s where the “gentle giant” put up his hands and was gunned down. /s
