Another problem laying the groundwork for the pandemic panic is innumeracy. Most of the American public appears to be unable or unwilling to critically look at the numbers. They don’t realize that the testing that we are doing is not truly randomized. Mostly we are testing people who have reason to believe that they are either 1. Sick or 2. Have been exposed. Therefore, 5 months into the ‘pandemic’, we can still only guess what the inroads that COVID-19 has made into the total US population and we have no idea as to whether future immunity is even ‘a thing’. Is this any way to run an airline?
