That’s because the police are scared of doing anything to the snipers. They aren’t afraid of arresting law abiding citizens.
If he was a thug, he wouldn’t attack you if you saw him. They like to sneak up and sucker punch the elderly.
The parking garage is a one way entrance/exit. A single car can block the entire garage.
There is no visible security in the garage other can cameras.
Over half of the building is minority due to hr having complete control of who is hired.
I told mgt I am no longer comfortable being in that building for those reasons.
Actually it is a smart tactic. You always want to give the impression of overwhelming numbers.

So, suppose a policeman sees someone who appears to be committing a crime and the cop tries to arrest him. The perp won’t cooperate. Immediately, the cop is surrounded by half-a-dozen people, with their smart-phone cameras out. So what happens then?
Does the cop try to make the arrest by restraining the perp, and risk being reprimanded, or worse fired and sued?
“Where is the police?” Good question.

I get you point but consider the impact, if you will, of the seismic cultural and demographics changes in this country in recent decades. That has been a game changer. We are no longer the country we used to be and therefore I don’t think your analogy is reflective of what’s going on today. I may be wrong but at least I’m explaining to you why I disagree.
Ironically, we are quickly closing in on a time when such open and constructive disagreement might no longer be possible.

I think their actions will continue until one day they will take on some folks that are 2nd Amendment believers and the narrative will then change.

Conservatives and ordinary people who want to preserve some semblance of a peaceful life are going to have to toughen up in ways that may be counter to their sensibilities and generous spirit. Strength is the only thing that is respected in this world. Right now, we’re not exhibiting it in my opinion.
All great contests come down to strength and the will to win. The odds are stacked against us so we have to prepare for some major confrontations and adjustments.
It sounds to me like you have the right mindset to deal with the coming conflict.

Funny how everyone is channeling Paul Kersey from Death Wish. He became a vigulante after his house was broken i to, his wife was killed and his daughter attacked. That has already happened numerous times. And what it has proven is the police who arrest the person who defended themself are the enemy. So are the politicians, district attorneys and judges who charge, try and convict a person who tries to protect themself.
