When I was a kid growing up, WE had a phone on the wall in the kitchen.
CRANK PHONE with 20 party line.
2 ‘longs’ & 1 ‘short’ was our ‘number’.
THAT is old.
Wow....what year/decade was that?
We didn’t have a crank phone, but a party line.
There was a nosy old lady who would listen in.
I still remember my mom yelling, “JEWEL, GET OFF THE PHONE!!”
