Keep in mind Covid had ended during the BLM riots. It restarted only after the riots ended. But after Nov 3rd it will end for good regardless of who wins.
As for when life will return to anywhere near pre Covid days, I don’t see that happening until antibodies from Regeneron (Regn-Cov 2) and vaccines from Oxford , Moderna or similar are widely available. I would guess Spring of 2021.
A vaccine won’t be needed after Nov. 3.
Don’t hold your breath waiting for effective vaccines.
In many states there will be herd immunity first.
