I think it was also a thinly-veiled call to arms for lily-livered Republican “leaders” to get off their asses and start pushing back on the insanity we’ve all been subjected to.
I got that, too, from this part:

My fellow Americans, it is time to speak up loudly and strongly and powerfully and defend the integrity of our country.It is time for our politicians to summon the bravery and determination of our American ancestors.
