Democratic strategist James Carville said there is a "significant chance" that President Donald Trump drops out of the race. In an interview on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" on Thursday, Carville said the "Moscow Mitch" strategy to save the Senate will involve throwing Trump under the bus.
JAMES CARVILLE: I think there is a significant chance he doesn't run. I mean, this thing is going so poorly. He's so far back. To me, it doesn't make much sense for him to run. (emphasis mine)

Don’t need Carville’s warning.
We (at least, I) don’t trust who we have on Capitol Hill.
He said the same thing about Biden in February.
Biden is failing mentally and can’t even read off a teleprompter. They’re airing ads (paid for ads) where he’s stumbling through his own campaign promos.
He’s 77. Cancer and aneurism survivor. He can’t go shake hands, hold rallies, meet people.
Biden is mentally slow and Trump will destroy him in the debates.
The entire Democrat party is controlled by their crazies at this point. They’ll force him to pick a leftist loon as a running mate and that’ll be their real candidate.
Carville is hoping the fake media and fake polls will get Trump to drop out because Democrats have a sure loser in Biden and it’s their only hope.
They’re now openly saying, “If Trump beats us again, we’ll resort to violence.” That’s how desperate they are.
Just ignore the media. Trump will get more votes this time around than 4 years ago and win bigly.

To speculate on the Carville/Begala playbook, Biden will continue to be the favorite nominee of the DNC but maybe in September he will be replaced due to health reasons. It appears his dementia is progressively getting worse rapidly. If his VP choice is M. Obama she will end up being the possible Presidential Nominee Hussein as VP.
Strictly speaking, this is Carville’s attempt at conjuring up his desired outcome by using sympathetic magic (like produces like), generating the desired outcome by pulling it out of thin air and pasting it back on reality. I have noticed that Left uses that quite often.
