Democratic strategist James Carville said there is a "significant chance" that President Donald Trump drops out of the race. In an interview on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" on Thursday, Carville said the "Moscow Mitch" strategy to save the Senate will involve throwing Trump under the bus.
JAMES CARVILLE: I think there is a significant chance he doesn't run. I mean, this thing is going so poorly. He's so far back. To me, it doesn't make much sense for him to run. (emphasis mine)

As offensive as Carville is politically, I’m a little sad hearing him him voice such a stupid opinion, but I guess it’s a tactic. He used to be more honest than this.
