Leftists have no problem using force to protect themselves and their friends. Even Police force. Even lethal Police force, if things escalate unfavorably.

But in typical Democrat fashion was ‘slow walking’ actually doing it in typical cowardly democrat fashion.
‘Protesters’ outside HER house - that though seems to have got a reaction.

If you look across at local reporting there...the Jeep is stolen and the 16-year-old kid is ‘homeless’. One of the homeless more mature adults, upon hearing they had possession of the stolen vehicle (I’m assuming via cellphone), told them to return to tent city at the Chop area...it was ‘safe’ there (apparently a big mistake).
Kids appear to arrive at the barricade, while talking over the phone, and shots occur. She hears the kid say he’s hit, and then the phone goes dead.
Added to this story, the kids stole the vehicle from a local guy at knife point, so both would normally get charges for the threat. It does not appear that either had guns. I know that the Chop cops say yes, they had a pistol...but no proof of this has occurred.
One final bit of info which I dug up. Real cops (not Chop cops) say that roughly 300 rounds of ammo were fired into the vehicle. If true (I’m a bit skeptical), it’s a wonder that the second kid (passenger) is alive.
If you add it all up....too much lawlessness for me if I were a resident of Seattle. I’d be leaving the city. This all leads me to the Israeli strategy from several decades ago...openly carry machine guns in public.
