Excuse my ignorance on this but lets just say it was a noose. How would a simple knot in a rope be a crime? I have seen this knot tied for a somewhat morbid display back in the days of Alice Cooper. I have seen them done by someone just playing around with knot making skills. So my question is absent any criminal intent how could a noose be a crime?

It’s not a racist knot, what it is is a way to make a slip knot as strong as the rope, and why it was chosen for its purpose. I guess I must be a fish racist too, because it’s essentially the exact same knot I tie my leaders and hooks with.

IF soemoen tied one and intentionally put it in a spot that was meant to intimidate soemone, then that’s a hate crime- but there is no evidence at all that the rope was tied that way to intimidate anyone, now was it placed in a manner that would intimidate someone (ie on their doorhandle, or hanging from their mirror, or whatever- where it would ‘send a message’, and coudl then be considered a ‘hate crime’)

But again- none of that happened here- but bubba- always the attention seeking professional victim, continues to call it a racist act- and to call everyone who doubts it ‘simple minded’
