IF soemoen tied one and intentionally put it in a spot that was meant to intimidate soemone, then that’s a hate crime- but there is no evidence at all that the rope was tied that way to intimidate anyone, now was it placed in a manner that would intimidate someone (ie on their doorhandle, or hanging from their mirror, or whatever- where it would ‘send a message’, and coudl then be considered a ‘hate crime’)
But again- none of that happened here- but bubba- always the attention seeking professional victim, continues to call it a racist act- and to call everyone who doubts it ‘simple minded’
and now petty won’t be able to get rid of him because people will scream ‘racism’ if he does
The whole concept of “hate crime” is bogus!
Someone says something or puts up a symbol that says I hate you. Big deal weren’t we supposed to get passed that type of emotional reaction to juvenile nonsense when we reached the age of majority (or earlier like when we get out of grade school!)

He’s also got a nasty temper, and has admitted in interviews that he has “anger issues.” I don’t particularly care how much pigment he has, he needed an attitude adjustment before he pulled this stunt. Sadly there seem to be no drivers left in NASCAR capable of giving him the adjustment.

Bubba also ‘struggles with depression’- He’s been ‘open about it’ (IE attention seeking) in the past- He relishes the attention- I’ve lost all respect for him- His ‘apology’ was not written by him in all likelihood- it just doesn’t sound at all like he speaks- Shame on Him and Shame on NASCAR for pushing this racist narrative even when they KNEW it was nothing but a garage door pull down rope-
And one final point- it was NOT a noose- nooses are made to slip and cinch around objects- pull down loops are designed to NOT slip and cinch- and NASCAR should have made that very clear IMMEDIATELY- that is if they had ANY integrity at all- which obviously they don’t!
