Anybody who is willing to live in a crowded metro area is odd in some way. Having that many of them in a crowded space is a recipe for disaster.

He's lucky that there wasn't a cop right there when the incident happened; a bad reaction by any of the people involved could have turned into another series of "mostly peaceful" protests.
