You gotta pity Roberts. He twists and turns and wriggles in a useless attempt to justify something that no man in his right mind will find justifiable.
The honorable thing will be for Roberts to resign at once. Highly compromised he is.
It certainly seems so.
It is hard to come up with another plausible reason.
He has a lifetime appointment. He was willing to buck political correctness when he voted for Heller and McDonald.
