His stats don’t support that conclusion.

The study authors themselves acknowledge that they misstated their conclusion:
‘We wrote “White officers are not more likely to shoot minority civilians than non-White officers.” We should have written this sentence more carefully as it currently refers to estimating Pr(shot|race,X).
